CHISEL was founded as a registered housing provider, owning homes that were then managed by Co-operative Managing Agents.
CHISEL is now the main manager of the homes that it owns, but still works with some of the original co-operative managing agents who include Three Boroughs Housing Co-operative, Flamenco Housing Co-operative and Dryads Housing Co-operative.
These Co-operatives all have Management Agreements, currently in the process of being rewritten, which make clear where responsibilities lie.
